, has been appointed as a new member of the Cultural Diversity Advisory Committee (CDAC) for the National Council on Disability (NCD).
Jeff Scott: Project Manager and Data Collection Specialist
Jeff Scott has participated with Abilities UNlimited on several accessibility survey projects over the past seven years and has a thorough understanding of the surveying and reporting methodology used by AUI. Jeff has a degree in Management / Computer Information Systems from Norfolk State University, and has worked as a project manager in the IT field for a large bank headquartered in Northbrook, IL for ten years. As the IT specialist for AUI, Jeffs contribution to survey projects will be invaluable as he further develops a computer based application for data collection, storage, retrieval and management system to simplify on-going ADA tracking for our clients.
Susan Scott: Research Specialist
Susan Scott is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.) with 25+ years of experience. She is currently employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona where she has worked since July 1987 until the present. Prior to her employment at St Joseph’s Hospital, she worked with children with disabilities in the Alhambra School District in Phoenix, Arizona. Susan graduated with an A.A.S. Degree from the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Mt. Aloysius Jr. College, in Cresson, PA in October 1975. She is currently a member of several professional organizations, including; The American Occupational Therapy Association; and the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association and legislative co-chair. Susan was a member of the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners since its inception and is former Chairperson of the Board and severed for 7 years Susan was named Arizona Occupational Therapy Associations Outstanding COTA of the Year in 1990, 1993, and 1994. Susan was appointed on November 1, 2003 to be a board member for ABIL ( Arizona Bridge to Independent Living).
