Bill Scott

Business Owner, Public Speaker, Educator/Trainer

Even I had a hard time believing my ears as I uttered the words; “I’ve gained more than I’ve lost”. But with that statement, I knew I was ready to move on with life.

Bill Scott - Living with a Disability

A nationally known public speaker for more than 25 years, Bill Scott is sought after for his extensive knowledge of disability issues and life as a minority and wheelchair user in the 21st century. Much of his appeal lies in his calm, but direct presentation style, and his sense of humor whether he is talking about the technical aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Housing Amendments Act, or a moving presentation about his 30 years of living with a disability.

Audiences are impressed with Bill’s positive attitude about life and his willingness to provide direct answers to difficult questions as he stresses the importance of sharing responsibilities for the success or failure of relationships. As an African American who is also a wheelchair user and a successful small business owner for nearly 30 years, Bill's public speaking includes key note presentations for Black History Month, as well as Disability Awareness Month. He also speaks as a business person who has been presented with the Outstanding Minority Small Business Advocate Award by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and recipient of the State Bar of Arizona Award of Appreciation as a non-member of the bar.
